Infurnace
Infurnace is a Bloodthirster of Khorne, a near-mythical monster whose tale is known to every Blood Claw of the Space Wolves Chapter.[1]
History
Millennia before M41, Infurnace fought the Wolf Lord Kjarl Stormpelt. Its fiery likeness is carved across the saga knotwork in four of the great halls of the Fang.[1]
During the Siege of the Fenris System, Infurnace was part of the daemonic invasion on Svellgard.[1] It fought the Wolf Lords Sven Bloodhowl and Harald Deathwolf, killing four of their Wolf Guard. Struck by the lance strike against the World Wolf's Lair, its flesh was nearly petrified, allowing Sven to shatter it by flying straight through it on full turbo.[2]
Appearance
Infurnace has bat-like wings and coal black flesh, wreathed in white flame. Its fiery aura burned so hot that solid shot melted and missiles burst in the air before it.[2] It wields a huge, fiery axe capable of cutting clean through the wing of a Thunderhawk in a single blow, and a chain whip of white-hot links.[1]
