Iota-11 was a Skitarii Ranger who served in the Forge World Agripinaa's skitarii legions.[1]

Iota-11 was lead by skitarii marshal Neius Lal. Their macroclade was under the command of Secutor Fidelia.[1]

Iota-11 was once a refugee. Their home world, birth-name, and life before becoming a skitarii have long since been purged from their memory banks. Although they forgot their homeworld, Iota-11 subconsciously held onto a forgotten memory of their life before becoming a skitarii. That of teal skies, smells of citrus and machine oil, farmers harvesting crops from orchards. They may have been a simple Agri World worker toiling to supply tithes to the Adeptus Mechanicus before being forced to flee xenos and fire, seeking refuge on Agripinaa.[1]
Iota-11 struggled with increasingly frequent (and painful) dissociation with their cyborg body. Their first augmetic limb was their right arm. Their arm had been lost somewhere in fleeing, fighting, or both, they assumed. Even after 547 days as a skitarii, the phantom pains would progressively become more pronounced. Multiple visits to Magos Biologis Bashar yielded no answers, as nothing was wrong with their prosthetic limbs, all of which could not sense pain to begin with.[1]
They vaguely recall clutching their bloody stump as a refugee while kneeling in supplication to Secutor Fidelia, to whom they recited the Vows of Integration. When Iota-11 attempted to recall anything before that moment it usually only yielded static.[1]
Alongside other refugees, they were elevated into becoming skitarii. Whatever planet they had fled from was likely decimated. All those refugees inducted into Agripinaa's skitarii legions had sought sanctuary from the enemies of the Omnissiah and to serve Him faithfully. Although 'friends' are something the Cult Mechanicus considered non-essential, Iota-11 formed a kind of friendship with their vat-born Skitarii Marshal, Neius Lal. Unlike the rest of the skitarii legion of either vat-born or elevated-menial origins, Neius did not treat Iota-11 as inferior due to their origin as a refugee.[1]
Secutor Fidella would order an extremely dangerous mission to the abandoned Mining World Cataegis-7 in order to retrieve a powerful Knight-Atrapos of House Hadrius, designated Clarion Call. Cataegis-7 was a Dead World gravitationally ripping itself asunder and would destroy itself in 3 days. Iota-11 would express concerns about the recklessness and danger of the mission to Neius Lal. Secutor Fidelia would notice this and investigate. Noticing that Iota-11's emotional partition wasn't activated she would immediately activate it herself, further disassociating Iota-11 from themself by barring them from feeling their emotions.[1]
Iota-11's macroclade world arrive on the world at the same time as the Iron Warriors warband, Grim Forge. The Chaos Space Marines would battle the skitarii forces outside of the mining facility housing the inert Knight-Atrapos. Both sides would take a number of losses, but the Iron Warriors and their Daemon Engines would prevail. After the death of all of Iota-11's skitarii comrades, Iota-11 would pilot Clarion Call and destroy the remaining Maulerfiend, Forgefiend, and Iron Warriors with ease. Iota-11 walked the Knight outside for the descending Agripinaa retrieval craft. Then, kneeling down to pick up and observe the corpse of their fallen friend Neius Lal, Iota-11 would succumb to her failing systems and pass away.[1]
