Iven Rannick is an Interrogator to Inquisitor Grendyl and his second in command.[4] He leads the Warband on the Mourningstar in the Inquisitor's absence.[2] Many in the warband rumour that Rannick might be promoted if Rannick is successful in the war efforts on Atoma Prime. The Inquisitor, and his senior apprentice Rannick, are members of the Ordo Hereticus and have been working to investigate the heresy upon Atoma Prime.[3]
Rannick rarely goes planetside.[3] But when he does, he might sometimes accompanied by a retinue fitting for the occasion, possibly of Tertium Magistratum Enforcers, Chrono Gladiators, archeotech-savants, or others.
