Jeremiah Mantubb
Jeremiah Mantubb was a Colonel of the Armageddon Steel Legion and later Imperial Governor of the planet Minerva.[1]
Biography
Active in M37, Mantubb was the commander of the 1st Steel Legion regiment. He led the 1st Steel Legion in the reconquest of the then-newly colonised Imperial world of Minerva, after it was invaded by the Chaos army of the Sorcerer Lord Torvel the Deluded.[1]
After the Imperials achieved victory in the conflict, the 1st Steel Legion was granted Right of Conquest on Minerva and Mantubb was made Minerva's Imperial Governor. Under his rule, Minerva quickly grew a formidable industrial base. The Astra Miltarum regiments later raised on the planet, the Minervan Tank Legions, are believed to have been modelled on the formation and combat doctrines of the Steel Legion, partly as a result of Mantubb's influence.[1]
