K-T B0U/M4N is an Adeptus Mechanicus Archmagos who, sometime after the Great Rift's creation, discovered a cache of archeotech upon Terra, that now allows the Imperium to capture high-resolution imagery of the furthest reaches of space, directly from the Throneworld of Mankind. This includes the Eye of Terror and the Imperium has just released the first ever detailed pict-capture of that blighted realm in unprecedented detail. However in order to preserve the sanity of those who view the pict, some segments of the image have been heavily censored.^[1]

• K-T B0U/M4N is a reference to Katie Bouman, a computer scientist member of the collaborative team of scientists (the Event Horizon Telescope project) that captured the first ever real image of a black hole in April 2019. The photo of Katie's reaction to the image went viral across the internet. The Regimental Standard post referencing this was made not long after their landmark work hit headlines.
