KV126 Skyfire Platform[1]
The KV126 Skyfire Platform is a Tau anti-aircraft emplacement.[1]
Operated by the Air Caste, Skyfire Platforms use aerial markerlight drones to ‘paint’ enemy aircraft, before engaging them with precise Burst Cannon fire. The array is also capable of saturating the air with devastating fire at mid-range.[1] Enemy aircrafts get painted as soon as they overfly Tau positions, oftentimes not realising that they are marked until engaged by Burst Cannon fire from Skyfire Platforms.[2]
The Skyfire Platform gets used as part of the air defenses of a Tidewall defensive position.[2]
