Kalibrax is a Forge World of the Imperium.[1]

Overview

Kalibrax is a world abundant in technologically advanced ruins from before the Age of Strife and suggests it may have once rivaled Mars itself. However such a status had long died even before the Great Crusade saw Kalibrax assimilated. By the time of its rediscovery by the Imperium the world had suffered through millennia of civil war between fanatical cults. The most prominent of these tech-cultists was the Endeavour of Airless Purity which sought to sterilize the galaxy of all biological life. This cult had achieved total dominion over Kalibrax when contact was made with the Imperium. The Imperials quickly sided with opponents of the Cult, and the hunters soon became the hunted as the Imperial asserted control.[1]

Kalibrax was in dire need of rebuilding once the Imperium took over and to aid in its revival a fresh populace was placed upon the world and the Legio Kulisaetai were gifted a compliment of Legio Mortis Titans alongside new personnel. The new rulers of the world proved grateful to Mars for the aid. The new Legio Mortis personnel were able to establish swift control over the Legion and to Fabricator-General Kelbor-Hal. Thus when the Horus Heresy erupted the world swiftly sided with the Warmaster and carried out executions against those who lacked close ties to Mars. In the Cataclysm of Iron the forces of Kalibrax moved against Atar-Median.[1]
