Kapek

Kapek was an Imperial Guard Sergeant, who was killed during the Chaos insurrection on Sepus Prime.^[1]

History

Kapek was a member of the Imperial Guard, and was stationed on Sepus Prime during the Chaos insurrection of the planetary Governor Narbo. He was in command of his regiment's push to take the civitate, while Lieutenant Sorov attempted to ambush Narbo. His unit was attacked at Tadmor Ridge by insurrectionists using Lascannons. The Imperial Guard called in aerial strikes, but these were unsuccessful, leading to his unit taking heavier casualities than expected. As Narbo flew in his Aquila Lander towards Tadmor Ridge to deal with Kapek's unit, Sorov contacted Kapek via Vox-Caster, asking him to hold for ten more minutes. Despite minimal chances of survival, Kapek agreed.^[1]

Notes

• It is not certain whether Kapek died trying to hold Tadmor Ridge, or during the Virus Bombing of Sepus Prime that followed.^[1]
• Lieutenant Sorov said to his unit "you might even get off this rancid planet", implying that their regiment was not from Sepus Prime.^[1]
