History

It is known for having dense^[1] equatorial^[2] forests, which often forces Kurkaris' PDF to use Rough Riders in place of armoured vehicles, as the latter have difficulties engaging in such environments.^[1]

Kurkaris was once overrun by Orks until it was liberated by an Astra Militarum Crusade. The Vostroyan 22nd were instrumental in the Xenos' eventual defeat.^[1]
