History
Those that remained outside the last bastion of the Imperium's territory, had no hope of receiving reinforcements and were left to fight on against the overwhelming hordes of Horus' forces. Among them was the Blood Angel Khotus Meffiel, who first spoke of the term Life-Seller to the White Scar Zhintas Khan. In his mind, their deaths were now inevitable and the Imperials fighting outside of the Eternity Gate had one goal left to them: To sell their lives dearly and see how many Traitors they could kill, before death claimed them.[1d]
