Zhintas Khan was a White Scars Khan, who was among his Legion's forces that took part in the Siege of Terra.[1]

Biography

Near the end of the Siege, he fought to defend the Imperial Palace's Sanctum Imperialis, but was among the Imperial forces left stranded after the closing of the Eternity Gate. Now having no means to escape or receive reinforcements, the remaining Imperials fought on against hordes of Traitor Legions, Heretics, Mutants and Daemons. During these battles, Zhintas stood beside the Blood Angel Khotus Meffiel and together they destroyed a Sons of Horus Dreadnought. Afterwards, Meffiel said the Imperials left defending the Imperial Palace, outside of the Eternity Gate had become Life-Sellers. Their only remaining goal now was to sell their lives dearly and see how many Traitors they could kill before death claimed them.[1]

They later separated and Zhintas' White Scars would fight the Sons of Horus again. During this battle, he thought back to Meffiel's remarks and became amused by the name Life-Seller. However, the concept also filled the Khan with pride and zeal. With the Imperials' deaths now seemingly certain, Zhintas wondered how much his life was worth? The Khan then decided that the forty-five Traitors he had killed since the closing of the Eternity Gate were not enough and Zhintas vowed to claim a higher kill tally before he met his end.[1]
