Lu'Nasad is an abandoned Eldar Craftworld, now known as Dresil'ach the Forgotten Ruin.

Overview

History

At the moment of Slaanesh's birth at the Fall of the Eldar Lu'nasad was boarding refugees on the outer rim of what would become the Eye of Terror. Within hours they would be overrun by Daemons, requiring them to plan a desperate escape: to flee by way of an ancient and unknown Webway path. This path would not lead them to salvation, but instead to ruin as it lead directly into the Rifts of Hecaton - a roiling Warp-storm.[1a] Only a small escape vessel would manage its purpose, helmed by Farseer Anaris to land amidst the Koronus Expanse, its crew succumbing to Warp disruption as they fled, the rest of the craftworld's populace would also perish in short order.[1a]

In 0965.M40 the Spirit Stone of Anaris was discovered by Lord Inquisitor Kobras Aquairre and accidentally called the ship from the warp, bringing it into the Koronus Expanse.[1c]

The Forgotten Ruin

Map of Craftworld Lu'Nasad

Trapped in the Empyrean for ten millennia, the Craftworld would become twisted by chaos leaving the craftworld in ruins, its Infinity Circuit crying out in constant agony[1a], its Wraithbone gardens reshaped into icons of the Chaos Gods[1c], its weapons armed by the Forces of Chaos.[1c]

In time the armoury of Aspect Armour and unused Wraithguard bodies would find themselves Possessed by Daemons and animated as walking constructs, the Aspect Shells and Corrupt Wraithguard who stalk the halls in a perverse mockery of their former inhabitants.[1d]

Crow Spirits

The descendants of inhabitants of Lu'Nasad who were not able to board before its fateful journey live on as the Crow Spirits, a band of Eldar Corsairs who have spent millennia eliminating those who would see the ship's return from the Warp and any who may become corrupted by it since its return, seeking now only to destroy their former home.[1b]
