Lucia Galika Tamerocca
Lady Lucia Galika Tamerocca was a Terran Noble who resided in a mansion within the Inner Palace, during the Horus Heresy's Siege of Terra.[1]
History
After the closing of the Imperial Palace's Eternity Gate, she remained within her mansion as Warmaster Horus' forces began attacking any Imperials within the Inner Palace. At that time, Lady Tamerocca stayed in her estate's grand chamber, whose drapes had been closed by the last of her household staff, before they fled seeking safety elsewhere. Tamerocca did not bother though, as she did not know where to flee to and she would not leave her beloved Songbirds. They were in an ornate cage that was too large for the elderly Tamerocca to carry and she did not set them free, because like her where would they find safety? Instead, Tamerocca decided to stay with them in her home, dressed in her finest gown and powdered wig. The very garments she wore, when the Palace's high-born Nobles were summoned to attend formal events within the Sanctum Imperialis.[1]
As the fighting began raging closer to the mansion, Tamerocca vowed to not flee and that she would not be driven away by the Traitors. She was a Noble, the mansion was her family home and she was too dignified to run. So Tamerocca sat in her grand chamber and listen to her Songbirds chirp, as she waited for Horus' hordes to find her. Soon afterwards, Lady Tamerocca heard scratching at the chamber door and knew her end was near. But the Noble would not make it easy for the Traitors, as she had armed herself with a laslock pistol, which sat on her lap.[1]
