Magneus was a Devastator Sergeant of the Ultramarines Chapter.^[1]

History

Wielder of the chainsword Imperator Eternus Vigilans, he led Squad Magneus during the defence of Angelus Prime. As the Khornate hordes swept towards the walls, they stood firm, firing until their guns glowed red hot.^[1]

Then, the Bloodthirster Zakhan'gar fell upon them like a bloody whirlwind. Sergeant Magneus hurled himself at the Daemon and, his hand guided by the Primarch, drove his chainsword into its eye even as it tore him in two.^[1]
