Morbad Zagblasta
Morbad Zagblasta is an Evil Sunz Speedboss, who has adopted and abandoned more titles and epithets than most Orks can count. His Kult of Speed Waaagh! is currently invading the Agri World Abundantia, as the Octarius War rages.[1]
History
He was born on the Octarius System world Dakkazot, where deadly blitzkrieg wars are a part of everyday life. When Zagblasta matured into a proper Ork, he became enamored with the Kult of Speed after he stole his first Warbike. The dangerous speeds Zagblasta then rode at, seemed to fulfill an aching void within him, though this would never last. The void would always be replaced by another, which required him to do something else to fulfill them. This never ending cycle, led Zagblasta to become obsessed with very fast vehicles with firepower, to vehicles that had lots of firepower and were fast. Each was used in his maniacal lightning-fast assaults, which often ended with the vehicles being wrecked. He was never satisfied with the speed of his vehicles, which led Zagblasta to have a constantly distracted mind, but he finally compromised on using a Deffkilla Wartrike. Zagblasta's attacks, meanwhile, would go on to become a source of mixed amusement and envy amongst his fellow Orks, as Zagblasta grew in power. However, those who joined him on his blind, onrushing strikes were dead soon afterwards.[1]
Despite this, though, Dakkazot's Orks began to focus on the fact that Zagblasta survived his antics and especially on those that obliterated a vast number of his foes. This led him to become a Speedboss and then to commanding his own Waaagh!. Since then, Zagblasta has become obsessed with making his Deffkilla Wartrike faster. He has had every Mekboy and Spanner under his command, upgrade it with the reddest kustom bitz with the vague notion that at lest one of them would give him that speed boost he craved. Thus his Mega Boomstikks fire cartridges of heavy shot individually painted red by his Grots, and the Wartrike's roaring engine is fed with Supa-red Oktane, formulated to produce eye-watering scarlet exhaust flames, and its armoured wheels are constantly sprayed in an oily, red paint that leaves a crimson slick behind the Speedboss.[1]
As the Octarius War raged in M42, Zagblasta led his Waaagh! to the Imperium's Sigma-Ulstari System. It had recently become repeated attacked by Orks and the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan and Zagblasta added to its woes by invading Abundantia. He soon discovered the Agri World was filled with things to increase his Waaagh!'s speed and power. Large numbers of his Waaagh! were then sent out to clam them for the Speedboss. The most sought after, was the chemical concoctions that Abundantia shipped off-world, which made the Orks' vehicles drive faster. Another was the Agri World's Harvester Engines, which were fast mobile fortresses that Zagblasta sought to use for his Waaagh!. He also ordered attacks on the Agri World's reclamation cities, though, Zagblasta seldom capitalized on their defenders' weaknesses. Instead the constantly distracted Speedboss, often split his Warbands into superfluous or even contradictory assaults, that allowed the defenders to recover. As he attacked Abundantia, however, it was not only the Imperium he faced. The repeated invasions by Hive Fleet Leviathan, had led the Toothed Coil Genestealer Cult to rise up in rebellion. Though the Hive Fleet had yet to attack Abundantia, the Coil sought to pave the way for their successful invasion. The Imperium and Orks were both unaware that the Agri World's chemical concoctions were infected by the Cult and most of the Harvester Engines were under their control. Intense battles have since erupted between the Waaagh! and the Cult, as the Coil seeks to protect them from Zagblasta's Orks.[1]
