'Toothpick' Murke is a Catachan Jungle Fighter Sergeant, who is part of Inquisitor Taarn's retinue.^[1]

Prior to that, Murke (who was known as a pathfinder, expert sniper and trap-setter) served in the 24th Catachan Hellbringers regiment. When the 24th clashed with the Sirens Xenos species on Darwin, Murke utilized his pathfinding skills to ensure the safe retreat of many of his fellow Guardsmen. This led the Sergeant to come to the attention of the Inquisition and Murke was recruited by Inquisitor Taarn of the Ordo Xenos. Since serving the Inquisitor, Murke lost his arm to a Prowler Trap plant on Villania, but it was replaced with an augmetic.^[1]
