Myrin Stormdawn
Myrin Stormdawn, is a Corsair Baron in the Starsplinters and former Admiral of the Craftworld Ilmaren.[1] Myrin maintains a base within the Well of the Long Death, a hollow planetoid within which a Waygate large enough to launch fleets from is found. Myrin wields a Void Sabre,[2a] smells of woodsmoke and pine resin with purple-black hair,[2c] and routinely purchases items for far greater than their value simply to be ostentatious.[2d]
History
Formerly an Admiral of the Craftworld Ilmaren, Stormdawn left the Craftworld after a disagreement with Farseer Caman of the Craftworld's Seer Council and brought with him nearly half of the Craftworld's fleet eventually finding a new home as a Corsair Baron in Princess Tishria's Starsplinters.[2b] In this role, he famously defeated the Szarekh Dynastic Fleet at the Helmingvar Shipyards and navigated Chaos Space Marines devoted to The Despoiler into a Black Hole.[2b]
He has been forced to enter into an alliance with the exiled Admiral Taenar Leotharan, after the Starsplinters' conflict with the Badskab Buccaneers escalated in an unexpected way.[1]
