Nyramar
Nyramar was a Grey Knight, who was friends with the Epistolary Graucis Telomane.[1]
History
He was a year older than Telomane and the Epistolary always measured his accomplishments to Nyramar's. No matter what Telomane did, however, it was always after his friend had already accomplished the same feat. This was a gulf between them, that Telomane felt in more than just time. For his part, though, Nyramar felt nothing but paternal towards Telomane and this lasted until he died after having his neck broken, during a battle. Sometime later, though, Nyramar appeared before the Epistolary, as Telomane's psychic senses wandered the Warp. This was after Epistolary realized the Daemon Primarch Angron, was soon returning to Realspace and Telomane began searching the Warp for the Imperial world the Daemon would appear at.[1]
Doing so, however, had merely shown the Epistolary visions of his past. This included the last Regicide match Telomane had with Nyramar, who died five weeks afterwards. Unlike the visions of his former mentor Aelos, though, this version of Nyramar was aware of merely being one of the Epistolary's memories. They would continue their game, however, and Telomane told his friend what he sought, but Nyramar warned the Epistolary to be careful for what he wished for. A vision of an unknown Desert World was then shown to Telomane and Nyramar repeated his warning once more. But when Telomane looked upon his friend again, the Grey Knight looked as he did upon his death. Then with a broken neck and a smiling face, Nyramar told Telomane it was his turn at the Regicide board. This would be the last thing the Epistolary saw, before Telomane's psychic senses returned to his body aboard the Strike Cruiser Sword of Dione.[1]
