Operation Shadow Talon was a secret operation carried out by Interrogator Osmun under the command of Inquisitor Thassian.^[1]

During the operation, Osmun's forces boarded the Black Ship Aegis of Truth near the Siren's Storm and fought Sisters of Silence of the Adamant Hawks Cadre on board, before capturing 23 psykers, transporting them to an Inquisitorial craft, and sedating them. The Aegis of Truth was then scuttled, intended to look like the fault of the nearby Warp storm.^[1]

Inquisitor Thassian wasn't personally part of the Operation; instead Osmun communicated to them via Astropathic message, utilising Vermillion-level encryption.^[1]
