The Siren's Storm is a newly formed Warp Rift within the Segmentum Tempestus.[1][2a][2b]
History
The Siren's Storm came into existence during the Noctis Aeterna.[2a] It ravaged the Soelich Sub-Sector.[2a][2b]
Under ordinary circumstances, the Siren's Storm would merely be the largest of multiple Warp Storms that afflicted the subsector following the formation of the Great Rift. However, the situation was far more dire than that: the Storm was artificially manipulated (being enlarged and directed) by a heretek device within the core of the Fallen Forge World of Ordex-Thaag. Ultimately these agents of the Dark Mechanicum wanted to harness the Siren's Storm in order to send its course towards Holy Terra itself.[2a]
However, the hereteks' scheme was discovered by Magos Xu Kroll, who mobilised the forces of his Reclamation Fleet in order to thwart their nefarious plans.[2a]
Operation Shadow Talon also took place in the Siren's Storm, wherein Inquisitor Thassian attacked a Black Ship and stole 23 psykers.[3]
