Orymous is a world governed by the Officio Logisticarum. The world is used as a mustering point for Imperial armies and battlefleets, where newly raised Astra Militarum soldiers were first united with their arms and equipment.[1]
The world had been the destination of a sizeable portion of the Gryphonne IV’s output prior to the forge world's destruction by Hive Fleet Leviathan. Without its industrial output, millions of soldiers stood idle while a dozen warfronts faced disaster. Unaware of the forge world's fall, Lord-Militant Salvastari would send several urgent astropathic missives to Gryphonne IV. However, the surviving forge synod ruling the remnants of the Gryphonnen Octad's diaspora fleet would receive these urgent missives these late. The raft of requests, demands, then finally pleas were received by the astropaths aboard the flagship of the Gryphonnen diaspora fleet, the Logos, at least 5 years after the forge world's fall during the subsequent Era Indomitus.[1]
