Ostia is an Imperium Agri World[1], and a former Maiden World named Aral'dha,[2a] that is located in the Gilead System and is capable of feeding most of its many worlds.[1]
Overview
A series of Orbital Defence Platforms, stations, and kill-satellites known as the Crown of Blades ring around Ostia and serve as the seat of power for the Gilead System's Astra Militarum Regiments.[1] The Valley of Ancra is a isolated minor farming zone in a valley of the Kharnuk Mountains.[3a]
Ostia is of particular interest to the Aeldari of both the Greensteel Warriors and the crashed craftworld Ul-Khari. Amongst the local Corsairs is Yvrualiel Moonsong, an influential Felarch of Ferianwyr Greensteel's fleet who advises Ferianwyr to reclaim the Maiden World for new exodite colonists.[2b]
