Outcast (Necromunda)
Outcasts are people living on Necromunda, who have lost, or grew out of, the system; they can be loyal servants of the Houses, members of the Merchant Guild, criminals, and organised cultists.[1a] This group includes the majority of hive scum, individuals who do not conform to the established societal norms of Necromunda.[1b]

Types of Outcasts
Hive Scum
Hive scum are individuals who fall through societal cracks end up in Hive City or the underhive. Surviving through their skills with guns or as hired muscle for various factions, they are viewed as disposable assets in the constant conflicts between Clan House gangs, Guilders, and criminals.[1b]
Rebel Lords
Renegade lords and remnants of lost Houses also form outcast gangs if unable to integrate into existing Clan House structures. Necromunda harbors numerous defunct Houses, their descendants scattered throughout the underhive. For instance, descendants of House Palladina assert dominance over outland settlements in Hive Primus, clad in Phyrr Cat furs and gilt weaponry. Meanwhile, House Tallonborg's "nobles," heavily augmented with cybernetics, maintain a mysterious legacy of creating murder-cyborgs and secretive contracts with Clan Houses.[1b]
Outlanders
Clanless Outlanders on Necromunda are individuals who have never been associated with a House.[1b]
Criminals
Criminal Outcasts on Necromunda are individuals who were once members of clans, criminal organisations, Noble Houses, or Guilds but have been expelled for various reasons. Many have committed significant crimes such as betraying their clan, embezzling from Guild families, or committing social faux pas that led to their expulsion from society. Others may have become outcasts due to circumstances beyond their control, such as the destruction of their family or clan, or administrative errors that erased their birth records.[1b]
Wyrds
Wyrds are excluded from society due to mutations or psychic abnormalities. The most severely affected are often hunted and eradicated, while others may be recruited by the Adeptus Terra or enlisted for Lord Helmawr's purposes. However, countless others survive in the badzones, striving to avoid detection by their fellow underhivers and eke out an existence under the radar.[1b]
