Palatine Sentinels

The Palatine Sentinels are white robed Astra Militarum Regiments and are among those that are regularly chosen to guard the Imperial Palace on Terra.[1a] Their armour and uniform is gold-trimmed, and they are equipped with some of the best weaponry available to the Astra Militarum.[2a] The unit's soldiers are sometimes employed as agents by the Adeptus Custodes.[2b]
Known Regiments
- 156th Regiment, the Tramman Standards — Defended the Imperial Palace during the Thirteenth Black Crusade[1a] and aided in the fighting to protect its walls, during the chaotic aftermath of the Great Rift's creation.[1b]
- 24th Battalion — The unit was tasked by Navradaran with covertly overseeing Luce Spinoza to uncover a conspiracy relating to the Golden Throne, the Senatorum Imperialis, and Dark Eldar.[2a] The entire unit perished while protecting Navradaran and his comrades during an expedition frm Luna to Commorragh.[2c][2d]
