Planet 7/2 was a world of the Galaxy within the Nephilim Sector.[1a]
Existing at the fringes of the Sector and far from any nearby Imperial worlds, Planet 7/2 was believed to be uninhabited. However in truth it was home to a massive Necron complex which coordinated the Pariah Nexus.[1a] This made it an ideal target for a raid by Belisarius Cawl and the White Consuls under Captain Messinius, who attacked it during the Pariah Crusade as Fleet Primus and Fleet Tertius launched diversionary strikes at Mesmoch and Paradyce.[1b]
In the subsequent raid the Space Marines fought through waves of Necron constructs before reaching a central command hub, which Cawl interfaced with. Cawl was able to disrupt the local Pylon network, learn much about the true nature of the Pariah Nexus, and unleash dataphages within the complex's control systems. After completing their mission, Cawl and the survivors were able to teleport back to their orbiting Strike Cruiser with a Pharos device discovered on the world.[1d]
