Powerblade
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
| This article is about the Aeldari power weapons; for the Imperial powerblades, see power sword. |
Powerblades are Eldar power weapons commonly wielded by Warp Spider Exarchs. A blade is fixed to both forearms and can be skillfully used to slash at the enemy, leaving both hands free to use another weapon as well.[1][2] Sometimes an Exarch can wield twin Powerblades while also replacing their Death Weaver mounts with additional blades, giving them a total of four.[4]
Previous Editions
In earlier editions powerblades could be wielded by Exarchs of other Aspects - most notably by the Dark Reapers, who wielded them in conjunction with their heavy weapons to give them both ranged and close-quarters abilities.[3]
