A Psychophage is a Tyranid bioform.[4]

Overview

The digestive tract of a Psychophage is able to metabolise psychic lifeforms into psychocorrosive ash, which it projects forward in blistering torrents.[1] The ash serves to deflagrate both the minds and souls of its victims.[4]

Despite their bulk, Psychophages are deceptively and terrifyingly fast.[4] The mass of whipping tentacles around their gaping maw can strip the mind from psykers before they can lift their sorcerous weaponry in defence.[2] While they prefer psychic organisms, they will nonetheless devour anything in their path.[4]
