Ravener Prime of Hive Fleet Typhon^[1a]

The Ravener Prime is a subspecies of Tyranid Ravener.^[1b]

Overview

Ravener Primes are the apex of "elite" strains of Raveners that have been observed to operate independently on worlds far outside of the reach of the Tyranid Hive Fleets. A type of leadership organism, they act as nodal hubs for their broods via their Neuropredatory Crest. The Hive Mind's influence spreads to nearby Ravener's, overriding their base instincts and coordinating them without the requirement for nearby standard Synapse Creatures.^[1c]

Besides their command abilities, Ravener Primes are deadly organisms and are equipped with Scything Talons, Rending Claws, and a tail blade.^[1d]
