Purity was a Canoness of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, who commanded the Adepta Sororitas forces on Sanctuary 101.[1]

History

In 897.M41, Sanctuary 101 was invaded by hordes of metal Xenos, the Imperium had no history of encountering before. This was later revealed to be the Necrons of the Sautekh Dynasty led by Phaeron Imotekh the Stormlord, who had come to purge the world of life. Purity was first alerted to the Xenos' invasion by Sister Superior Glorica and afterwards the Canoness ordered her Fortress-Convent's Astropath to send out a distress call. She then led her Sisters to war, so the Astropath would have the time needed to do so. Their first battle against the Necrons, saw the Sisters save what remained of Glorica's forces from being killed by the Xenos.[1]

Purity and her Sisters ferociously fought the invaders, which was all recorded by the servo-skull I-Theta-One. But despite their skills, many of the Necrons the Sisters slew rose up and attacked them once more. This led the battle to turn against the Order of Our Martyred Lady and matters became worse when a Monolith suddenly appeared and Imotekh emerged from its depths. The Phaeron and his Lychguard then cut a path to Purity, whom he challenged to a duel. Imotekh swore that if the Canoness defeated him, then the Phaeron would allow the surviving Sisters to retreat from the battle. Though Purity did not believe Imotekh, she agreed to the duel and had faith that the God-Emperor would empower her to defeat the Xenos. However, it was not to be, as despite the Canoness' zealotry and hatred, Purity was slain by the Phaeron. Shortly afterwards, her remaining Sisters were killed as well and the Necrons also slew the Astropath before the distress call could be sent out.[1]
