I-Theta-One is an Adepta Sororitas Servo-skull, that once served the Order of Our Martyred Lady's Sisters on Sanctuary 101. However in the aftermath of the Necrons' massacre there, it is now in the possession of the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Hoth.[1]

History

I-Theta-One was the first to become aware that Sanctuary 101 was invaded by the then-unknown Xenos species, in 897.M41. This was later revealed to be the Necron forces of the Sautekh Dynasty Phaeron Imotekh the Stormlord, who had come to purge the world of life. The Servo-skull then sent out an alarm to warn the Sisters and it was heard by the patrolling forces of Sister Superior Glorica. They would be the first to engage the Necrons and also warned Canoness Purity of the invasion. The Canoness in turn, ordered her Fortress-Convent's Astropath to send out a distress call. Purity then led her Sisters to war, so the Astropath would have the time needed to do so. I-Theta-One would record the following battle, which ultimately saw the Sisters all slain by the Necrons. The Fortress-Convent's Astropath was also killed by the Xenos, before the distress call could be sent out.[1]

Many cycles later, Acolytes of the Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Hoth arrived on Sanctuary 101 and began investigating what had killed the Sisters. Though they found no evidence of the Necrons' presence, they did discover I-Theta-One, which had managed to survive the Xenos' attack. The servo-skull was then brought back to Inquisitor Hoth, but sadly, he discovered that I-Theta-One's data was badly corrupted. All that could be recovered were static-filled images that showed the Sisters fighting shadowy figures. As a result of this, the Imperium would not learn that the Necrons were responsible for the massacre on Sanctuary 101 until many years later.[1]
