The Sanctity of Saramanth was a Heavy Destroyer of the Imperial Army's fleet during the Horus Heresy.[1a]
She was destroyed, however, by the Word Bearers Battle Barge Infidus Imperator, in the opening moments of the Heresy's Battle for Calth. The Sanctity's Shipmaster was Ouon Hommed[1a], who escaped the Destroyer's destruction thanks to his first officer. He was picked up by the Battle Barge Macragge's Honour and given command of the Ultramarines' flagship by Chapter Master Marius Gage.[1b][2]
