Shieldbreaker Missiles

The Shieldbreaker Missile is a type of carapace-mounted Missile Launcher weapon employed by the Imperial Knight Castellan.[1]

Ancient variants of the Hunter-Killer Missile, these warheads incorporate raptoris Machine Spirits and empyric cascade micro-generators that allow them to disrupt and pass through enemy shields by skipping like hurled stones across the skin of reality, dipping minutely in and out of the warp in micro-second flickers. These missiles are used to punish dishonourable enemies that hide behind walls of arcane energy or ranks of lesser warriors.[2]

Chaos Knights Tyrant utilize a corrupted version of Shieldbreaker Missiles dubbed Gheiststrike Missiles. These flicker in and out of reality thanks to their empyric runes, allowing them to vanish altogether before rematerialising deep within their targets and blowing them apart.[3]
