A Shock Maul[1]

Shock Mauls are a type of Shock Weapon.[1]

Overview

These weapons are most commonly seen in the use of the Adeptus Arbites and Enforcer squads on countless Imperial worlds. Upon activation, they deliver a powerful incapacitating shock to the enemy. Shock Mauls are primarily used for crowd control, but can also be a deadly melee weapon.[1] They are primarily designed to be non-lethal, but with enough blows, even without their electrical discharge activated, they are effective tools for murder.[5]

Various items can be crafted into elegantly concealed shock mauls. For example, the technology could be incorporated into a walking cane. The handle of said cane might be us as the striking head of the maul who's shocking properties are activated by pressing a stud on the cane's shaft. These kinds of bespoke items tend to be made for individuals with resources to spare. Individuals wielding such concealed weapons might be part of Imperial high society, such as an aged noble or Navigator.[2]
