Siege of Lakadamon

The Siege of Lakadamon occurred in 953.M33 when the Ork hordes of Warboss Vorhgad Bloodfang laid siege to the Hive World Lakadamon.[1]
The siege left the Sons of Guilliman Chapter and several Tekarn Armoured Regiments besieged by the Orks in Lakadamon's Hives, where they successfully defended the Hive World for three years. Relief finally arrived for the defenders when a task force from Battlefleet Tempestus, as well as the Night Reapers and War Bearers Chapters, broke the orbital blockade of Bloodfang's ships encircling the beleaguered world.[1]
