Silvissa the Light of Justice is an Adepta Sororitas Canoness of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.[1b] [1b]

History

Silvissa[1b]

She is one of the Sororitas' most seasoned members and Silvissa's extensive experience, has made her an almost peerless commander on the battlefield. The Canoness always leads her forces from the forefront and is able to give the correct orders in any battle she fights in. Silvissa's close combat skills are superb as well and she can turn the tide of battle with her Cruciform Mace. But the Canoness' mere presence is a boon, as her self-sacrificing spirit and powerful litanies to the Emperor, boost the morale of those around her.[1b]

These attributes and abilities notably allowed Silvissa to protect a defenseless Ecclesiarchy temple, from an Evil Sunz Speedwaaagh!. As the Orks charged towards it, through the ruins of the temple's ravaged city, the Canoness bade her two squadrons of Battle Sisters to take cover in nearby ruins and she then made herself visible to the Evil Sunz. Acting quickly, the Canoness made sure to gain the Orks' attention, by loudly proclaimed herself as the leader of the temple. This was seen as a challenge by the Speedwaaagh! and the Orks promptly veered their vehicles at Silvissa. However when they neared the Canoness, her hidden Sisters opened fire from their concealed positions and began destroying the Evil Sunz' vehicles. The wreckage proceeded to block the narrow streets that Silvissa had drawn the Orks into and they were forced to abandoned their vehicles to continue fighting the Battle Sisters. A newly reserve force of Adepta Sororitas arrived soon afterwards though and the Canoness led them against the Evil Sunz. The battle between the two forces lasted a full day, but the Speedwaaagh! was dealt a deadly blow, when Silvissa killed its massive Speedboss with a single bolt round to the Ork's head. Seeing their leader slain, led the Evil Sunz to flee from the Sororitas and this caused the Speedwaaagh! to collapse.[1b]

Currently, Silvissa is part of an Indomitus Crusade Fleet[1b] and aided it in reclaiming many of the Imperium's lost worlds.[1a] However, the fleet was later ambushed by the Prophet's Black Legion warband and its Space Marine Commander gave the order for his warships to escape into the Warp. Despite doing so though, the Sorcerer Lord tracked the fleet within the Warp and launched an attack on the Commander's Battle Barge flagship. While his warband fought the Imperials, however, the Prophet began secretly summoning Daemons within the Battle Barge. They materialized throughout the flagship and once he was done, the Sorcerer Lord ordered his warband to withdraw. Shortly afterwards, the Daemons caused catastrophic damage to the flagship and the Commander enacted an emergency exit from the Warp.[1a]

While the Indomitus Crusade Fleet survived doing so, it was left scattered within an Imperium Nihilus Sector.[1a] The Commander then began regrouping his forces and as he did so,[1c] he learned that that very same Sector was now being invaded by the Prophet. The Commander then led Silvissa and the rest of his forces against the Sorcerer Lord's warband, in order to save the Sector's worlds.[1d] Thanks to the Commander's leadership, the fleet was able to foil[1f] the Prophet's plot to pull the Sector into the Warp,[1e] though the Sorcerer Lord escaped before the Imperials could kill him.[1f] The vengeful Prophet then sought to free the imprisoned Daemon Prince Halphas, so that he could destroy the fleet and its Commander.[1g] However despite succeeding in doing so, the Imperials defeated the Daemon Prince. Afterwards, the Commander confronted the Prophet and once again defeated the Sorcerer Lord.[1h]
