Six Hundred Torments of Brayne
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
The Six Hundred Torments of Brayne is a sacred book of Necromunda's House Cawdor, which details the trials the Redemption Cult founder Encorderius Brayne, endured during his journey through the Underhive.[1]
History
It was written by House Cawdor's revered Thane Hester, in early M41 and has long been used as the basis for the tortures used by Cawdor's Redemptor Priests. The Priests reason that a Heretic's soul will be saved, if they can experience the pain Saint Brayne went through.[1]
