Born on the world of [[Holscht]], Folker presented himself to the [[Chaplain]]s of the Black Templars bearing his fathers father's sword and declared himself ready for any trial awaiting him.<br> [[Chaplain ]] [[Burkarys ]] determined that Folker's warrior spirit was indeed strong and possessed the ruthless edge required of by the Black Templars. After all of the trials presentedwere successfully completed, Folker was allowed to become a [[Neophyteneophyte]]. During his trials Folker showed great bravery which was honoured by the [[Chapterchapter]]'s artificers , who took his fathers father's sword and crafted it into a [[Power Swordpower sword]]. The weapon was presented to Folker upon his elevation to the rank of [[Initiates|Initiateinitiate]] , and has carried it eversinceever since.
