'''Trail of Saint Evisser''' is located on the far western edge of the [[Segmentum Solar]] and is a collection of systems visited by the [[Saint Evisser]].This tract of frontier space is so named because of the unweavering faith that the saint brought to the collection of worlds that he visited. During his travels, the saint moved from world to world working miracles in the name of the [[Emperor]]. As the saint grew in fame, more people flocked to the planets he had visited in hopes of seeing him. These pilgrims brought much needed prosperity with them, in thanks the powerful and wealthy constructed shrines and chapels bearing the name of [[Saint Evisser]]. <sup>1</sup>
As [[Imperium]] grew and shipping lanes bypassed the trail, shipping began to fall away causing widespread poverty. The nobles of the Trail moved, leaving the lower classes to continue their toil in the Emperor's name. As the centuries passed the trail fell into decay. Most notably the trail is the site of the attempted remanifestation of the demon [[Ghargatuloth]] also known as The Prince of a Thousand Faces. This remanifestation plunged the trail into anarchy, in order to confuse Imperial forces attempting to defeat the demon, most notable being a strike force of [[Grey Knights]] led by [[Justicar]] [[Alaric]].<sup>1</sup>
