By doing this, you can it is possible to engage long range targets while allowing fellow units to concentrate fire on nearby threats. This combination helps keep a team of units flexible and able to deal with any type of battlefield situation.
A [[Multi-tracker]] and [[Plasma Rifle]] complement the Missile Pod nicely, as being able to fire both weapons in one turn is an excellent option. This nasty combination can cripple the enemy when used uniformly over an entire squad of units. However without the protection of [[Drone]]s or other decoy units, such a squad will need to steer clear of enemy fire.
