If [[twin-linked]], hitting the target is almost inevitable. The caliber of the missile is powerful enough to crack open light tanks, scout vehicles, and larger targets such as [[Tyranid Warrior]]s. Heavier heavier vehicles can be destroyed with a well placed shot. [[Target Lock]] is a very useful support system when used in conjunction with Missile Pods. By doing this, it is possible to engage long range targets while allowing fellow units to concentrate fire on nearby threats. This combination helps keep a team of units flexible and able to deal with any type of battlefield situation.
A [[Multi-tracker]] and [[Plasma Rifle]] complement the Missile Pod nicely, as being able to fire both weapons in one turn is an excellent option. This nasty combination can cripple the enemy when used uniformly over an entire squad of units. However without the protection of [[Drone]]s or other decoy units, such a squad will need to steer clear of enemy fire.
