During Sometime during the [[13th Black Crusade]] it was invaded by , an unidentified Warsmith of the [[Iron Warriors]] [[Chaos Space Marine]] legion who wanted assaulted the planet of Hydra Cordatus, seeking to capture attain the Imperial Fist gene -seed for themselvesthat was stored there. After a long war of attrition Under his command were Captains Forrix, Kroeger, and a siegeHonsou. Eventually, the [[Iron Warriors]] managed to capture Warsmith succeedded in conquering the planet and . Although Imperial defenders tried to destroy the gene-seedbefore he could reach it, he moved quickly and reached the cryo-chambers before they could finish.Already favored in the eyes of the Gods of Chaos, the Warsmith was promoted to daemonhood for such an accomplishment. Just before his ascension, he named Captain Honsou as his successor Warsmith. Honsou proceeded to kill the remaining Imperials and then retreated back into the Eye of Terror with the intact genetic material
