Currently, the [[Hive Tyrant]], [[Tervigon]], [[Tyranid Prime]], [[Zoanthrope]], [[Tyranid Warrior]], [[Tyranid Shrike]] and the [[Trygon Prime]] are known to be Synapse Creatures.

'''Synapse Creatures''' are creatures in the [[Tyranid]] [[Hive Fleet]] who have the ability to transmit the [[Hive Mind]]'s orders to the lesser members of the hive. The Synapse Creatures transmit these orders through the [[Synapse]], a psychic power generated in the synapse node. Known examples of Synapse Creatures are [[Hive Tyrants]], [[Broodlords]], [[Tyranid Warriors]], and some [[Zoanthrope]].
