no edit summary
The Death Company will fight regardless the odds against nor their injuries, in homage to the Emperor and their fallen Primarch, [[Sanguinius]]. The Death Company would rather die of their injuries in battle and have the peace of the grave than walk away victorious or defeated. Those who do survive battle are taken back to the Blood Angels home planet, [[Baal]], to die having been declared too frenzied to be controlled.
Before a battle blood angels will indulge themselves in prayer and worship of their [[primarch]] and the [[Emperor]]. The [[chaplain]]s move from man to man seaking out those with a vacant look or whose speach is slured. Rarely does a blood angel succumb to the black rage. Most of his training is aimed at controlling it, but those that do collapse into a chaplains arm's and are carried away to form the Death Company. A Death Company Marine's power armour is painted jet black with red crosses on the spots where [[Sanguinius]] was wounded in his final battle with [[Horus]]and is covered with parchment upon which is written the deeds of the battle brother before his induction into the death company.
A Death Company assault will often spear head a blood angels attack as the frenzied warriors carve a bloody path through the enemie. They were instrumentil in the destruction of Waaargh Gutstompa in which they and a death company dreadnought tore through the orks, ripped apart the war boss and broke the back of the entire waaagh.
