Well into his history with the Ordo Malleus, his first reported action was against the Prince of a Thousand Faces, [[Ghargatuloth]] and his impending resurrection into realspace. It was he who when meeting with Grand Masters on Titan suggested that Alaric should lead the assault force against the Daemon prince. He assigned inquisitor [[Ligeia]] to lead the investigative part in the mission using her unique psychic abilities to draw information out of literature.<sup>1</sup>
As he was observing the execution on the Saturn prison complex Encaladus it was the assistance of Ligeia's personal [[Death Cult Assassin|death cult assassin]]s who assisted aided in the escape of the Radical Inquisitor Valinov. Nyxos would have been mortally wounded in his duel with the culists and Valinov had it not been for many redundant organs that kept him alive. Ultimately, he was forced to put down another Inquisitor as Ligeia had become corrupted after opening her mind to Prince of a Thousand Faces to find a way to defeat him.<sup>1</sup>
