== Biography ==It is reported he has been in service to the [[Emperor]]'s [[Inquisition]] for several centuries. When in the guise as a old man not throwing inquisitorial commands, he has an air of a tired old wise cracking man. His older frame is supported by a servo-assisted exoskeleton.<sup>1</sup> ===Valinov===
Well into his history with the Ordo Malleus, his first reported action was against the Prince of a Thousand Faces, [[Ghargatuloth]] and his impending resurrection into realspace. It was he who when meeting with Grand Masters on Titan suggested that Alaric should lead the assault force against the Daemon prince. He assigned inquisitor [[Ligeia]] to lead the investigative part in the mission using her unique psychic abilities to draw information out of literature.<sup>1</sup>
As he was observing the execution on the Saturn prison complex Encaladus it was the assistance of Ligeia's personal [[Death Cult Assassin|death cult assassin]]s who aided in the escape of the Radical Inquisitor Valinov. Nyxos would have been mortally wounded in his duel with the culists and Valinov had it not been for many redundant organs that kept him alive. Ultimately, he was forced to put down another Inquisitor as Ligeia had become corrupted after opening her mind to Prince of a Thousand Faces to find a way to defeat him.<sup>1</sup>
===Dark Adeptus===
After the events of Ghargatuloth, the inquisitor took his retinue to investigate the appearance of a planet that appeared from the warp that had been missing for one hundred years. As it turned out the planet was a missing forge world and Nyxos was forced to politically grapple with the [[Mechanicus]] to get a force down and investigate the goings on planet while he stayed with the small fleet orbiting the planet.
The fleet was attacked by a [[Chaos]] fleet led by [[Urkrathos]] [[Chosen of Abaddon]]. Once again it was the assistance of his many augmentations that kept him alive while the ship he was on depressurized.<sup>1</sup>
===Lost Friends===
After believing that Alaric was lost on Sarthis Marjoris he later received a communication from him on the ex-[[Pleasure world]] Belsimar and recovered him back into the Imperial fold. Nyxos made light to Alaric that he could assist him in going back to the Grey Knights, but he also hinted that a [[Space Marine]] with imagination like his could serve the Inquisition so much more as something else and left it at that.<sup>1</sup>
