When there are direct contradictions in the sources, the policy is to regard the most current version as being "canon". So we should probably remove the ''"After their near-destruction at Isstvan V, the Raven Guard had to make to do with older armour and equipment. The available resources were too few to re-equip them"'' part and add a proper account of the Raven Guard getting the 1st batch of MkVI suits from Deliverance lost. == Drop Site Massacre ==
I've just read the new short story from Horus Heresy - Kryptos - and it makes me wonder - how many Raven Guard legionnaires really survived the Drop Site Massacre. The Raven's Flight and Deliverance Lost made pretty good job on describing that disaster but Kryptos opened whole new bag of possibilities. How many of Raven Guard escaped by other means? What did they accomplish during Horus Heresy?
