Larger than the [[Castellan Class Robot|Castellax]] class it would serve beside, the Domitar was also swifter, designed to cross the battlefield at a high speed and built to crash into enemy positions. To this end it was given a shock-protected heavily armored frame and equipped with [[Graviton Hammer]]s.{{Fn|1}} For long-range attacks, it was equipped with carapace mounted [[Missile Launcher]]s. This armament allowed it to pulverise battle tanks and, as it would later prove, even [[Legiones Astartes]] [[Space Marine Dreadnought|Dreadnought]]s in combat. As a line-breaker, the Domitar was unparalleled in the Mechanicum’s arsenal, and its tactical flexibility was further augmented with a missile launcher armed with a variety of munitions.{{Fn|2}}
A variant of the Domitar-Class Robot, the Domitar-Ferrum class, was used for the infamous [[Iron Circle]].{{Fn|3}}
