However, the Expedition ended in failure and {{PAGENAME}} was among the few to return from that doomed endeavor, though he had sustained such terrible wounds that only interment within a [[Contemptor Dreadnought]] saved him from death. Afterwards, he would continue to serve in the Ultramarines's Eighth [[Chapter]] and , fighting in [[The Calth Configuration]] for ten years, so by the time the [[Battle for Calth]] began, the Dreadnought was known as '''Ancient {{PAGENAME}}'''of the [[Dainhold Tertiary Muster]]. During the battle against the [[Word Bearers]] Legion, {{PAGENAME}} fought with bitter resolve against the Traitors on [[Calth]]'s surface and was instrumental in the defeat of a large Word Bearers force that assaulted the gate of ''''Arcology XVk'''.
