Several dozen warriors of the 140th company died in what might have been a catastrophic breach in the vessel, had not the section of the vessel they were embarked been jettisoned. There is information that Legionary Arnfried and his battle brothers fought off several of the Lacedaemon boardings by the [[Iron Warriors]] in the Following battles, but nothing is known about their further courageous acts. The ship was destroyed during the exit from the battle with the [[Iron Warriors]] fleet and it is unlikely that Arnfried or someone from the 140th company could survive the massacre. Arnfried wore Mk3 armour of the latest modification , on his breastplate is a raptor and lightning bolts - the Unification icon .Crossed swords on the leg were used as a army badge in various Imperial divisions undertaking compliance enforcement operations in the Hangman's Void, and remained the members of 140th company to the battle of Phall. The arrow on the right forearm marks him as a member of a tactical squad,in this case a support squad. This symbol was widely used by the time of the Battle of phall.{{Fn|1}}
