Arnfried
Arnfried was a Tactical Support Legionary of the Imperial Fists Legion, serving in the 34th Squad of the 140th Company.[1]
Biography
Just prior to the Battle of Phall, the 140th company were recalled from reconciliation operations in the Hangman Void. 34th Squad was assigned to the warship Lacedaemon; this was perceived as a high honour, because the Lacedaemon was a veteran of the first expeditions of the VII Legion in the Great Crusade.[1]
During the battle, several dozen warriors of the 140th Company died when the Lacedaemon suffered a catastrophic breach. There is information that Legionary Arnfried and his battle brothers fought off several attempts by the Iron Warriors to board the Lacedaemon, but nothing is known about their further courageous acts. The ship was destroyed during the exit from the battle with the Iron Warriors fleet and it is unlikely that Arnfried or any from the 140th Company could have survived the massacre.[1]
Wargear
Arnfried wore a suit of Mk 3 armour and was armed with a Primus MkII pattern meltagun and a Phaestos-pattern flamer.[1]
